April 2010 was a highly productive month for Furniture Sharehouse.  We served 37 households -- 110 people, including 60 children and 21 female heads of household.  We distributed 676 items worth more than $50,000, the highest monthly value of items distributed since Furniture Sharehouse opened its doors!

Requests for appointments continue to increase --  we are booking appointments six weeks ahead, so please keep us in mind for donations -- furniture for our clients and money to be able to pick up the furniture.

We are looking forward to welcoming our Community Advisory Board members to a meeting at the warehouse on May 25th, 2010 to discuss our client referral policies to hlep improved our efficiency and enable us to help even more Westchester families make a house a home!
