Furniture Sharehouse provides free basic home furniture to individuals and families, including those moving out of homeless shelters into permanent housing; battered women and children escaping domestic violence; working families struggling to stay above the poverty line; young adults aging out of foster care; victims of fires or other natural disasters.

In order to ensure that our furniture goes to those who need it most, we require clients to be referred by a Member Agency.  For a complete list of our current Member Agencies, click here.  If you are in need of furniture and think you may qualify for a referral to Furniture Sharehouse, contact one or more of our Member Agencies in your area to see if they would be willing to refer you.  If you already have a case worker or a relationship with a social service agency, ask them if they can help you obtain a referral.
