Can you imagine... a child sleeping on the floor... a family with no table or chairs to share a meal... clothing and personal belongings stored in cardboard boxes? Thankfully, most of us cannot. Yet, every year in Westchester County, many are forced to live without even the most essential household furnishings because, after paying for rent and food, they have no money to buy the basic furniture many of us take for granted – the furnishings that make a house a home.

Furniture Sharehouse, a not-for-profit organization, provides these individuals and families with the basic household furnishings they need free of charge, enabling them to rebuild their lives with dignity. Won't you help us make a house a home for a needy family in Westchester County?
