Murphy Brothers hosts AIA Luncheon at Furniture Sharehouse (3/13/13)

On March 13, our BFF, Murphy Brothers Contracting,, hosted its March Continuing Education Seminar for architects and interior design professionals in conjunction with Furniture Sharehouse.

The Seminar took place in a building adjacent to Furniture Sharehouse at the Westchester County Airport. Following the presentation, several dozen participants walked next door for coffee and dessert and a quick tour of our warehouse with Kate Bialo, Executive Director, Kathy McGrath, Volunteer Coordinator, and Volunteer Jennifer Frank.

Michael Murphy, Director of New Project Development for Murphy Brothers, said “We love Furniture Sharehouse’s mission of recycling used furniture to help families in need, and we are so pleased that we were able to introduce a group of industry professionals to their facility so that they know where to refer their clients who might have furniture to donate.”

“Today’s on-site luncheon was great exposure for Furniture Sharehouse, and we are so grateful to Murphy Brothers Contracting for its ongoing support,” said Ms. Bialo.
